The Friends of the LibraryOur primary goals are to stimulate community awareness and use of the Glen Ridge Public Library and to support the library in developing its services and facilities. To this end, the Friends work to obtain public support for the Library budget; and to encourage gifts, endowments and memorials that provide financial support to the Library. Colonial Frolick Program Delights All!On November 12th, the Friends of the Glen Ridge Library sponsored a program celebrating family fun and games of a simpler era. Via a dynamic duo of historical interpreters, History on the Hoof presented Colonial Frolick: Early American Songs, Singing Games and More. Colonial Frolick delivered an authentic and entertaining evening of favorite rhymes, riddles, rounds, ditties, instruments and dances from the 17th to early 19th centuries. This highly successful program was attended by over 50 enthusiastic youngsters and their families!
