Summer is the perfect time to learn something new. The end of the school year and the beginning of long, unstructured days can be the perfect canvas for creativity and self-expression.
National Summer Learning Week highlights the importance of keeping kids learning throughout the summer. But this year especially, why not make summer a time to create learning opportunities for the whole family?
May is Mental Health Awareness Month - a good time to think about what you do to take care of yourself. These days we are hearing a lot about the benefits of having a good "self care" routine, one which nourishes the mind, body and soul. According to Mental Health America, it is important to "make time for things you enjoy. Even if it’s just 15 minutes a day, set aside time to do something you find fun or relaxing—it will release chemical messengers in your body that are good for your physical and mental health." This week we have pulled together some virtual resources and activities to help you explore different ways to improve your wellness. Enjoy and "take care".
