New Off-Site Library Book Drop Makes an Appearance
The Glen Ridge Public Library recently installed a new Library book drop located on Darwin Place across from the Glen Ridge Community Center. Funded in part by a grant from the Borough Film Fund, this new location is convenient for commuters, students and community members doing business in the center of town. You may drop off any borrowed item; however, we ask that all CDs, DVDs and cassettes be put in a plastic bag from home.

Have a “Blind Date” with a book at the Glen Ridge Library
Want a fun way to read something new? Have a “blind date” with a book from Glen Ridge Library. Between February 8 and 19, just in time for Valentine’s Day, come in to the Library and pick out a wrapped book. You won’t know what it is until you get home!
This is a great way to try reading something you might not normally pick for yourself. Maybe you’ll discover a new author. Maybe you’ll learn about a person or place you didn’t know before. Maybe you’ll read about a subject you never thought to read about. And, maybe, you’ll just enjoy the company of a good book. This could lead to a new hobby, give you an idea for a place to visit, or lead you to other books.
If you don’t like the book, no problem, just stop reading and return it to the Library with the wrapper. You haven’t spent anything and the book’s feelings won’t be hurt!
